The Balancing rein works via small pulleys and running round Double braided yacht rope strap, which fasten to the bit (Pulley blocks) the clips of the strap attach to the Bio-Thane quick clean/easy care rein, using the D-rings.
The first of the D-rings you are asking for a small amount of bend, progressing upto D-ring closest to the riders hands asking for maximum bend. We suggest that this should be done gradually.
The balancing rein encourages the correct build up of muscle and in time improves balance and outline shaping.

The elasticated strip on the chest strap allows some head movement, so your Horse/pony is not being ridden in a fixed position, therefore encouraging bend and suppleness rather than forcing it.
