Our Hock Elevation band is designed with comfort for your horse/pony in mind.
Having used other equine body bands, we found they caused too much friction at the back of the legs, often causing hair loss and sores. With this in mind, we have come up with this design:
 
Made with the highest grade equine fleece, removable sleeve (for easy washing) with adjustable elasticated flank lines.
 
 The aim of the Hock elevation band is to put pressure on the horse/ponies hind quarters to encourage hock elevation. This in turn helps build up the hind quarters, increases muscle development along the spine and strengthens the core, which is essential for self carriage and balance.
 
 The band can be used for both lunging and ridden work (for ridden, 2 girth strap loops are supplied to enable attachment).
 
 Easy to use and effective.
 
 Ideal for horses/ponies with stifle issues (Locking stifles in particular), those recovering from injury or muscle wastage or the good old fashioned lazy horse/ponies that drag their feet.
 
 The fleece sleeve should be Hand washed in warm soapy water, rinsed well and drip dried. DO NOT machine wash or tumble dry.
 
 Spare sleeves can be purchased separately.
